This isn't really a choral question, but more a teacher question. I'm on a technology committee that is studying adopting a new computer program that does everything from teacher grades to scheduling classes to managing student lunch accounts. We have been using MacSchool for almost 10 years now, and we're tired of it. Does anyone use PowerSchool, Pearson CenterPoint, or SchoolMaster? What do you think of them?

Thanks Chris and Tim. Chris, I don't think it is just you. The pricetag is quite steep, more than most people realize. But I was impressed with CenterPoint and PowerSchool. SchoolMaster I knew in five minutes that it was not for us.
Tim, we actually started on JMC in about 1994, but have since transferred it to our Middle School. While it is a great attendance and grades program, it is just not powerful enough for the needs of our school. I appreciate your suggestion, though. Although I've never used it, I've heard great things about PowerSchool. Our district tech person is pushing for it, but funding seems to be an issue for us here... maybe it's just us...

At Union we use JMC. It is outstanding in every detail. I highly reccomend it.
