I have routinely struggled to find choir contests (especially separate from show choir weekends) other than State Large Group and our own conference festival. I would like to see if there is an interest among other small schools (3A and under) if we were to establish a choir contest for Concert/Chamber Choirs? I think there is so much to gain from working with a clinician as well as hearing other schools perform and it is a shame that these events are so hard to come by.
